New Moon

New Moon

There will be a new moon over my shoulder
And that old moon is still in my heart
I remember now that celestial bodies
In the blue water mixed with our nectar
What you told me that night
Still echoes bright in my brain
You promised with the new moon
You’d be taking me back
To that pool of heavenly water

Still I’m waiting patiently
There will be a new moon over my shoulder
And that old moon is still in my heart
Now I’m wishing I had been bolder
Then perhaps we wouldn’t be so far apart

You promised you would take me
Places of wonders of nature’s bliss
Still I wait and make believe
That some day you’ll be in my arms
In the midst of nature
And we will be beguiled in bliss
There will be a new moon over my shoulder
And that old moon is still in my heart

Listen My Heart

My heart tonight we will forget him!
You and I, all alone tonight!
You may forget the warmth he gave,
I will never forget the light I got
‘Heart, we will forget him!’

Don’t leave now my heart
That you’re here—
Stay. Please do stay little while
So the world may become like itself again:
So the sky may by the sky
The sea a sea
And the glass of nectar not a mirror
Just a glass of nectar and his light
Don’t leave now that you’re here—
Stay. So the world may become like itself again:
So the mountains may by the mountains
The woods a woods
And the glass of nectar not a mirror
Just a glass of nectar and his light

Your Love

Your love is such I can no way repay;
The Nature reward you manifold, I pray.
Then as long we live, in love
Let’s so persevere,
That when we are no more,
We may live ever.
To be in love with you
Is to touch with a lighter hand.
In yourself you stretch, you are nature

Your love is more persistent than perish
More lovelier than lonesome
More seldom than a wave is wet
More frequent than to fail
More real than recall

Your love is a fire that burns within
A wound that aches but felt
As always discontent content ent
A pain that rages without hurting
Your love is nothing but life!
