Maskwaith Ahsan is an international journalist, educator and the author of over 14 books. His columns appear in several Bengali newspapers, magazines and websites across the globe. He also hosts his web TV show E-SouthAsia. With socio-political satire as his forte and a background in English Literature and Dramatics, Maskwaith Ahsan has tried to examine human behavior in a transitioning South Asia. The backdrop of most of his work is human suffering and how religion and politics are impeding evolution in the region. He currently resides in Pakistan which allows him insights into the ideologies shaping the dynamics in South Asia. His continuing work on his theory of ‘Debate for Socio-Political Discourse’ earned him the Queen’s recognition as a Commonwealth Fellow.
